Everybody has something to say
whether it be of life experience,
a bad day
or debating religion versus science
a natural disaster
a human tragedy
the death of a mother
your own history
Think straight, debate
especially those things you hate
look around, write down
anything that makes you frown
wake up, speak up
can't let them shut you up
create, relate
your fate it's never too late
Release your anguish with a pen
shed some tears through a poem
face your fears in a verse
keeping it inside is much worst
don't be ashamed of your short-comings
that's what makes us all human
if ever you feel anger
reach for that piece of paper
I've oftened wondered
the existence of so many words
that we use to express
suffering, pain and distress
tyranny and oppression
gained a meaning during the human reign
in these times of great turmoil
let everybody hear your voice.
